My Bigger Games | About the Bigger Game | Allies

My Bigger Games:

My Bigger Game keeps adjusting but here are the primary themes - these the compelling purpose.

  • Soul Needs To Be Brought To Work
  • No One Is Ever Alone
  • Thought Is At The Base Of Human Experience
  • The World Needs To See The Power of Lifeforce
  • We need to slow down

Which result in:

  • Bring Forth My LivingIntentionally Model
  • My allying with Alexander Caillet & Ken Manning to bring forth the Human Functioning Model of Thought & Lifeforce
  • Change the way we teach business in business school to include the human factors - the "soft" stuff which in reality is the "hard" stuff
  • Bringing Transparency and Soul to Work

I have realized that if I my Bigger Games are going to come into being, I must first engage some personal big games to bring out my best and allow me to create sustainability. This was the reason for hiring four coaches in the Fall 2003.

My immediate big games, which lead to my Bigger Games, I am setting forth here, publically as Intentions.

  • I intend to be a global thought leader who is quick and agile on my feet.
  • I intend to let my lifeforce guide my work.
  • I intend to bring people
    1. to a higher frequency
    2. to clarity
    3. to peace
    4. to connectedness
    5. to understanding

What is the Bigger Game

In Fall 2003 I attended a program being brought to the world by one of my mentors, L.A. Reding.

The Bigger Game Program

I had heard of the program / model through Laura Whitworth (founder of the model and cofounder of CTI) when she gave a teleclass to the ICF Virtual community and then presenting at the ICF International Conference with live teleconferencing between the audience in Atlanta and the inmate coaches (These are inmates who have been trained as co-active coaches). Her Bigger Game had been to bring coaching to prisoners. Wow

What are you really called to do in the world? What is the Hunger? What do you do when you get that pit of the stomach – oh shirt moment, when you realize that you have to do something really big with your life. How do you create the allies that you need to make it happen? What are the sustainability factors? How do you move away from your comfort zones?

That is what The Bigger Game is all about.

They have an excellent model of tackling the REALLY BIG ideas that drive our souls. This is the place to tackle the ideas that are BIGGER than us, the ideas that we really don’t have an answer to. As we discovered in the program, the Bigger Games that really matter are the ones that

a) If you can do it alone
-or-
b) If you know how to do it

It is not a bigger game; it is just a game

What would make you GULP if you took action on it right now?

Allies:

From the Bigger Game website:
"To play this Game you must have allies. Allies are both the people who are wildly supportive and “on-board” with your game and AND people who may disagree or have resistance to what you are up to. You must create a designed alliance with your allies. Do you want ongoing support via a phone call; do you want feedback along the way? Whatever it is, it must be designed and stated. And this relationship will shift and change over time as your Bigger Game progresses."

REQUEST FOR ALLIES: I have stated publically at the Thought Leader Gathering on April 1st that I want to engage people in the conversation of soul. I made a big request of the members -

Engage me in this conversation of soul and lifeforce and help keep me out of my "head" or thinking mode (my comfort zone), which I am so prone to engage.

I make the same request of you who will be my allies - How does soul show up in your work? How does your lifeforce influence your path? Is it ever wrong?

How might we be allies?
